What a brand identity includes
A brand identity is more than a logo. It is the system a business can actually use: primary and secondary marks, colour, typography, applications on real touchpoints, and guidelines so the work holds after handover.
A longer deliverable list does not make a better brand system. House of ARA designs around actual use — signage, vehicles, uniforms, print, packaging, social — and omits what the client will never maintain.
What usually sits in the system
Primary mark, secondary mark, lockups, submark where it is useful, colour, type, spacing, supporting graphic language, and art direction. Components are added only when they have a job.
The logo is not the identity
A mark is one part of the system. If the business cannot use the rest — type, colour, applications, rules — it does not have an identity. It has a file. Logo versus brand identity is the difference between a mark and a system.
What identity is not
A font change is not a concept. A mockup is not proof of a weak mark. Decorative luxury — serifs, black, gold, wide tracking — is not a substitute for judgement.
