A brand identity has to work in the world
A brand is not a file. It has to hold on a sign, a vehicle, a uniform, a pack and a page — at the sizes and on the materials the business actually uses.
House of ARA tests identity on real touchpoints, not only in a lookbook. Typography must hold at ten millimetres on a label and at two metres on a door.
What gets tested
Stationery, signage, vehicles, uniforms, packaging, social, print and environmental presence — the applications the business will maintain. Materials are part of the palette: paint, stitch, plate, paper.
What is omitted
Components the client will never use. A longer list does not make a better system. If an application cannot be produced or kept, it does not belong in the identity.
